We had four seasons in one day, but Nolans was the place to be!
The annual Sydney Scorpions ‘Gary Croft Junior Gala Day’ hosted by Manly Touch, was once again a huge success with plenty of great touch across all age groups.
All of Manly’s Representative teams across 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s who are heading to Dubbo in February to contest the Junior State Cup Northern Conference, plus our Development teams in the 10s, 12s and 14s had a great hit out against quality opposition including Northern Beaches, Ryde Eastwood, Hills, Carlingford, Hornsby, Norths, Nelson Bay, Easts and Taren Point.
Thank you to our wonderful referees for officiating our Manly games – our teams could not attend these gala days without you! To our event crew who ran an amazingly smooth event today, even with last minute line marking hiccups and inclement weather you went above and beyond to ensure the day was a success! To our canteen operators Bob and Carol who juggled two canteens and BBQs to ensure everyone got fed a huge thank you….and to our coffee van ‘Columbean Gas’ and our Aussie Gems bake stall – you were great to have on board this year!
We can’t wait to do it all again for Sydney Scorpions next year! 🦂🦅
