With the 2025 Junior Summer Competition approaching we are now seeking Expressions of Interest from those referees who would like to be considered for allocation to referee games on a Thursday and/or Friday afternoon/evening.
Referees must hold a minimum Level 1 accreditation to be allocated any games in our Junior Summer Competition.
If you need to do your Level 1 Referee accreditation we will be running a Level 1 course in late August prior to the Junior Summer Competition getting underway in September. For those that complete the EOI we will contact you directly with the link to register into our Level 1 course when it is available to enrol in.
For those interested in attaining a Level 1 Referee accreditation you need to complete the online course component first and then will be able to enrol in our course when we make this live. The steps to complete the online component are shown below.
All referee online courses are run through THE NEST, which is Touch Football Australia’s online database that keeps your accreditations up to date and your information in safe hands.
To complete the online course, first create your NEST profile HERE
Once you have created your profile, simply follow the steps below to register to a course.
- Login to your NEST profile and click “TRAINING LIBRARY”
- Select the button “VIEW COURSES” under the ‘TFA – REFEREE COURSES and GRADING’ section
- Select “PURCHASE” under the ‘AFFILIATE REFEREE COURSE’ section. The cost of the course is $49.50
- Once you have purchased the course, click the “MY TRAINING” tab on the left of your screen
- Go to the TFA Affiliate Referees option and click “START”. Select “ENROL”
- You should be able to complete the online component of the course via the Australian Sports Commission website – https://www.ausport.gov.au/officiating/education/essential-skills
- Once Manly Touch sets our Level 1 Referee course live you will be able to enrol in the course by select a course date from the calendar, and then selecting “ENROL” – NOTE: we will advise of the course date and give the link closer to the date of the course.
