Manly Touch wishes to thank Tayla Browne for her dedication and hard work behind the scenes over the last 12 months, as she took on the role of Operations Manager. Tayla came into the role right as our 2023 Junior Summer Competition was about to start, and to say it was a baptism by fire is an understatement. She quickly streamlined many processes and operations of the club in and around our local competitions, and has serviced our members with enthusiasm and expertise during her time in the role.
We wish Tayla all the very best in her next endeavour – although she will not be a stranger to Manly Touch as she is still playing Vawdon and Senior State Cups for our great club this year.
Coming on board with Manly Touch in the role of Facilities Manager is Tom Perrett. Tom has been part of our Junior Summer Competition event crew for the last two seasons and as an ex-police officer of 26 years is well equipped to take on the role of delivering all our local competitions at Nolan and Passmore Reserves each week throughout summer and winter. He will also be responsible for all activity at both the Manly Touch Clubhouse and the Southern Facility, liaising with council, contractors and vendors that frequent the fields, and will take charge of ‘GK’s Buggy’ on competition afternoons/evenings.
Kate Perrett will be taking on the role of General Manager of Manly Touch, overseeing not only the operations of the club but offering senior commercial expertise to the Executive Committee, with a view to taking our great club to more success on and off the field.
